The Villas

Inside Estate there are two Case Coloniche, one next to the other.

What is Case Coloniche?

In the past, they were rural dwellings in which the family who used to live and work there do not own the same or the same property, but were bound by a sharecropping contract with the owner.

Living the Tuscan tradition

The villas in the past used to host farmers families and to be the hearth of a countryside community. The upstairs were used for living while downstairs was used for keeping animals. This was actually a very sustainable way of thinking the house: in winter, the heating created thanks to the animals downstairs, was flowing in the upstairs bringing a warm relief. Also the windows tell us about its farming past: countryside farmers used to have smaller windows in order to prevent the excessive heating or cold to enter, and therefore keeping the house cool in summer and warm in winter thanks also to the thick stonewalls.

Bedrooms

The whole Estate has an availability of a total of eight doble bedrooms.

The main Villa has five double bedrooms:

four have a double bed
one has two single beds

Each bedrooms has a private bathroom available in the room.

The secondary Villa has three double bedrooms:

two have a double bed
one has two single beds

There are two bathrooms available, one of which is in common for the two upstairs rooms.

SALONE

In the living rooms / "Saloni", you will be experience an elegant atmosphere set in the middle of nature. We love to be surrounded not only in the outdoor, but also indoor. Nature and elegance intertwine perfectly for pleasant and enjoyable moments.
